Frankly, adopting the position in the centre of a circle of artists, waiting to capture your every crook and nanny, was nothing short of terrifying.
As part of my Everyday Adventures series for The Herald, I recently faced my fears – and the elements – to try life modelling for an art class. Here are some of the (over 200!) sketches from the day. For a full, frank description of my day as a life model, take a look at my Herald post.
Many thanks to the talented artists of Strathblane Village Life Drawing, and their wonderful tutor, Gareth Reid for their patience and kindness to this terrified trier.
Catching up with the artists after my debut!
